Staying Strong for my Army Medic

My boyfriend’s mom starts a new job next week and won’t know her schedule so she dropped my gift off early. She made me a quilt with pictures of my boyfriend and a few of both of us. And it is in my favorite color!! Her quilts are absolutely amazing and I love it! Definitely brought tears to my eyes. I hope this quilt will make it a little easier to get through the rest of the deployment. 

Dear Army, please give me my soldier back! I haven’t heard from him since a two minute chat on facebook on Monday and probably won’t get the chance to talk to him again until Sunday at the earliest. This is one of the things I hate about him being deployed. I miss being able to just text him or call him to hear his voice. GRR I love him to death and I just want him home. These past few days have been rough and I have been missing him like crazy and it didn’t help that I didn’t get to talk with him. PLEASE GIVE HIM BACK! 

Got home yesterday from work and as I was about to rinse out my tie-dye shirt from camp my brother yells at me to wait a minute and come upstairs. I then get a package thrown at me that has my name on it. I start to open it and see Tiffany’s tissue paper and then that lovely blue box :D My soldier got me a Tiffany’s dog tag (and its even engraved!) for my birthday. I was absolutely speechless at how thoughtful it was and was completely surprised since it is 3 weeks before my birthday. To top it all off I got a phone call from him early this morning to see how I liked it since he had to go to bed right after I opened it. Gahh I love him so much!

I feel bad for anyone that is friends on facebook with my soldier. Anytime he is online (at a decent hour) and I am not he messages anyone he can to have them try to get a hold of me so I can try and get online so we can chat. My mom laughs because the only time he talks to her is to ask where I am and why I am not on facebook. I love him so much! :) Only a little over half a year left and then he will be home and be able to text me instead of bug everyone to see where I am and to get my online.

I will take a few minutes of facebook chat with crappy internet connection over anything. Made my day, especially after a long run that I am hurting from. I <3 you baby and miss you like crazy!

I have been missing my soldier like crazy lately. His days have been really busy so we go a days without talking but I knew to expect that. One of the best things I have gotten from him is his basic shirt. Sleeping in his basic shirt with the army bear I got for Christmas make me feel closer to him. I miss him like crazy :(
